Though the Tiny Tush Contoured Cloth Diaper is notably trimmer than the alternatives mentioned--even the prefold cloth diapers, they still provide 5 layers of absorbent, 100% cotton, custom-milled fabric, right through the "wet zone".

Trim through the crotch, Tiny Tush Contours have a loose liner that lays along the diaper's center and is affixed to the back of the diaper to provide add'l absorption. Not having the liner affixed decreases the drying time when laundering. So as you can surmise, efficiency is another one of the reasons why the Tiny Tush Contoured Cloth Diaper are so well liked and used.

The Tiny Tush Contour cloth diaper packages, like our fitted and prefold diaper packages, do not include a diaper cover. Since the diapers are not designed to be waterproof, a cloth diaper cover of some sort must be used atop the diaper to keep wetness from leaking through. Nearly any kind of cloth diaper cover can be used with contour diapers, though many prefer wrap-style diaper covers to alleviate the need for diaper pins or other styles of diaper fasteners.
