This Montreal-based company began in 1988 when Betsy Thomas launched a small mail-order cottage industry to stay at home with her kids. In time she brought on Shirley Murdock as a partner and Bummis cloth diaper covers began distributing affordable cloth diaper covers and cloth diaper totes worldwide!

Bummis supports their local economy, paying respectful living wages to their employees. Bummis diaper covers are sewn in their 7,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility from locally purchased diaper cover fabrics. Bummis understands the need for creating a product AND environment that is environmentally sustainable.
